As a creative entrepreneur, I have plenty of grand ideas however I mostly just created my business step by step with no real formula or guidance in terms of the operations side of things. I was looking for a goal-setting workshop for The Shebras to kickstart 2020. I really appreciated that I just told Janifer what I was looking for and she produced a really robust plan that was interactive. Interactive workshops are really important to me and something that The Shebras (our female/female-identifying ERG) find valuable. It was a really successful workshop that lots of people are talking about around the office. I've also heard of a few accountability groups getting started 😊 Janifer listens to the needs of the organization and responds with exactly what we need along with enthusiasm, attention to detail and a passion for making the lives of the people she is working with better and more productive.
I was feeling stuck/plateaued with my goals. Janifer provided great prompts and the space to explore my values and satisfaction. I now have detailed action steps and I'm not feeling stuck anymore. Mosaic Weighted Blankets has been in business since 2011. Janifer has assisted me with bookkeeping since 2013. She has even done some financial analysis, ROI and helped me figure out the BOM cost for my product, which is weighted blankets. My company has grown very fast, and one of the difficult pieces of owning a company is managing employees. Janifer has been invaluable in helping me implement solid HR practices when working with employees. She has written job descriptions and an employee manual. Janifer prepares payroll every other week and developed effective payroll reporting practices. She has given me great basic HR advice on how to manage employees. She sat in with me on employee meetings, as back up for an employee termination, and provided documentation for the meeting. Janifer also runs HR employee/payroll orientations for Mosaic Weighted Blankets. I have worked for 20 years - at IBM and for one other fortune 1000 company and I have rarely seen someone as effective to work with as Janifer. She is pleasant, efficient, bright and hard working. Sometimes I need information right away, and even if she is out of her office, she responds immediately and gets the info to me by end of day. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Janifer is a big thinker who is also approachable. I was delivering a program 1:1 in workshop sessions live and was challenged with turning the program into an online course. She gave me confidence and support by documenting what I was doing that my clients loved so much (so I could focus on the doing).
