Self-guided Productivity Coaching Session

Self-Guided Productivity Coaching Session

There are many issues that can impact productivity, such as lack of focus, overwhelm, stress, and distractions. A productivity coach can help identify the areas that need the most attention and create a plan to address them.

Before we get into the self-guided productivity coaching session, let’s go over the essentials.

Who can benefit from working with a productivity coach?

The truth is that many people are having a hard time focusing as a result of the pandemic. During this “endemic”, I can make an argument that everybody can benefit from working with a productivity coach.

Productivity coaches work with individuals or groups who want to achieve more by becoming more effective and efficient. They help their clients set and achieve goals, manage their time better, improve their organizational skills, get rid of distractions, and overcome procrastination.

When individuals are not productive, it can have a ripple effect on their personal and professional lives.

Productivity Coaching can help you in the following areas:

– Time management
– Procrastination
– Organization
– Task management
– Delegation
– Accountability
– And more!

There are many other areas that can be impacted by productivity, such as creativity and stress levels. And in extreme cases, lack of productivity can be a symptom of a much deeper issue, such as depression, anxiety, or ADHD.

What does a productivity coach do?

A productivity coach helps individuals identify what is impacting their productivity and create a plan to address these issues. They can provide guidance on time management, how to overcome procrastination, how to be more organized, and how to better manage tasks.

The goal of coaching is to add a much higher level of accountability so that transformation can happen. Most people want to be productive and have the best version of themselves, but they need help getting there. That’s where a productivity coach comes in! To make you do what you wouldn’t do on your own.

Now that we know a bit more about who can benefit from productivity coaching, let’s dive into the self-guided session.

How to use the self-guided productivity coaching session:

1) Make a list of all the areas that are impacting your productivity

This can be anything from time management, to how you spend your days, to distractions that pull you away from your work. The calls you’re getting. The productivity gadgets you’ve bought but you’re not using. The way you’re planning your days. The levels of stress and anxiety. Make that list! Don’t just think about it.

2) Set up micro goals.

Micro goals are small, attainable goals that you can work on each day to help improve productivity. For example, if your goal is to spend less time on social media, then commit to reducing your time each day by 5 minutes.

You can also review your list and focus on the easiest tasks first.

3) Commit to taking a tiny step for 5 days & TRACK IT!

Once you have your written list and your micro goal (remember, the easiest one), commit to taking a tiny step for 5 days to work on that goal. This is important! By committing & tracking, you’re holding yourself accountable.

That’s it! 5 days doing something tiny, but consistently, it’s all you need in order to make those bigger changes.

Consider Joining a Productivity Group

Connecting with people who are also working on their productivity can be a great way to stay accountable and get support.

It can help you to stay motivated and on track.

Finding the right group may feel like searching for a needle in a haystack, which is NOT efficient or JOYFull. Save time and energy by joining The JOYFull BadAss Network.
